Energy premiums 2019: total budget of 18 million and an increase of 2 premiums
This year, the Brussels government is focusing on insulation and heat, with a budget of 18 million euros. Insulating a building, opting for a better heating system or regulating an existing heating system can both reduce energy bills and improve employee comfort. The premium for insulating walls on the outside and the premium for replacing boilers will be increased by 40% in 2019.
The total of all energy premiums granted in 2019 may not exceed EUR 200 000 per building.
Another new feature is that the application form for the premium has been simplified and the application can now be made up to 12 months after receipt of the final invoice for the work. On average, you will receive payment within 8 weeks of submitting all documents.
